In theory (on paper) the Ferrari 458 Spyder is a much better car than the Ferrari 458 Italia and of course this is expected as the Ferrari 458 Spyder is an upgrade of the Ferrari 458 Italia but in what way is it better but I am not hear to tell you about how the Ferrari 458 Spider is better on paper as there is hundreds of blogs out there that can tell you that, I am here to tell you why it is better in practice as a driver who has driven both...
The Ferrari 458 Spider is a nice ride. It sounds... sexier. It drives better. It feels alive. Now all you non avid supercar drivers will be sitting there thinking what the h$Ll is this guy talking about but all you avid supercar divers will know what I mean. Both cars take off with a boom! Both cars pick up speed like a snowball rolling down a hill. But the Ferrari 458 Spider makes me feel like I'm 23 again whereas the Ferrari 458 Italia makes me feel like I'm 29 and have started to quiet down (which is still pretty impressive as I am 37 now). And that is why I would recommend the Ferrari 458 Spider to anyone buying or hiring a supercar
